How are you? Great, I hope!

First of all, I am really sorry for not posting anything for more than a week.:'( I wanted to write but couldn’t get any idea what to write upon. But, thanks to  myfavouriite for helping me out.

Second of all, thank you all for tolerating me. Thank you so much for your support and love!!! 🙂

“When a person responds to the joys and sorrows of others as if they were his own, he has attained the highest state of spiritual union.”

 

The earth was overburdened by the evilness. The sins committed by the demoniacs, in the form of rulers and kings, were unbearable. Then came a time when the goddess of earth, took the shape of a cow and approached Lord Brahma (The Creator) to seek relief. She expressed her helplessness and asked for help. Concerned by the situation of the earth, Lord Brahma asked all the other demigods to the shore of the milk ocean, to worship the supreme god, Lord Vishnu. 

After offering prayers to Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma understood the advice lord gave to him. And this was – “O Demigods, I am aware of the distress on earth. I want you demigods to incarnate as sons and daughters in the Yadu Dynasty. I will personally appear, to remove the burden from the earth.”

Mathura, a holy city, was in the hands of a tyrannical king, Kamsa. A person who did not even spare his father, Ugrasena ; imprisoning his father, he declared himself as the king of Mathura. The face of the whole city turned upside down as if it had been cursed. The city was now not in the hands of a wise ruler, it was now under the rule of a cruel inhuman king. The peace-loving citizens were tortured by Kamsa. But one day, everything was going to change…

Soon a happy news knocked on the doors of Mathura city. Crown princess Devaki (Kamsa’s sister) was getting married with King Vasudeva of the Yadus. This news spread like forestfire in the city, as all citizens expected that this wedding would surely put an end to the wars with the yadus. Everyone had a light of hope in their eyes for better days.

Finally, the much awaited day arrived. But little did they know that the oracle was already waiting for that day; the oracle which changed the world.

Hello again.

By the title, you must’ve got an idea what this is all about. I hope so. But if not, no problem. This story is of Lord Krishna. Sri Krishna – a playful child, a passionate lover, a courageous fighter, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

I’ve always been fascinated by the different myths in Hindu and other mythologies. so, I just wanted to share it with you all. I hope you liked it. By the way, existence of Sri Krishna isn’t a myth. I think so.
