Blue Watery Eyes #3

Ash couldn’t understand why Jason didn’t see that girl behind him.

“And where did she go? I wish I could know her name, at least.” Ash said.

Ash tried to keep him busy but why he wasn’t able to keep her out of his mind? He wondered. “Maybe she’s meant to be there.” He told himself.

“Jason, I’m going out for a walk. Will come back soon.” Ash said.

“Yeah, until then, may I eat your snacks?” Jason asked cheerfully but Ash didn’t mind.

He got out and sat near the bank of the Sanctus Lake. One could find him throwing pebbles in the crystal clear water, and then he caught a glimpse of a bright beautiful golden fish. His eyes followed it until the fish was gone.

The shining sun was now setting in the arms of the clouds. Ash didn’t realize that his time had passed so fast.

He stood up and decided to go back but wait, what was that? Did he really see a girl on the other shore, the same girl that he met before? He turned around and yes, she was there.

He rushed and crossed the old-looking wooden bridge over the Sanctus Lake.

“Hey, wait!” He said panting.

She turned around, “Hi, I am glad to see you again.” She said with a soft smile that made Ash forget his name for a while.

“Where did you go, then?” He asked the question that was upsetting him the most. “You just disappeared.”

“I didn’t left, I was there only.” She said slowly in a soft voice.

“Oh, maybe I didn’t see you.” He paused. “I am Ash, What’s your name?” He said, and extended his right hand gathering all the confidence he could.

“I am Aurora.” She said in a dreamy voice, and extended her right hand, too.

He didn’t even notice that her hand was cold as ice, for he was mesmerized by looking in her eyes. Suddenly, he realized and came back into real life.

“What a beautiful name! By the way, where do you live? I live with my friend Jason just at the other bank of the river.”

“I live there” She said pointing towards a beautiful small hut inside the thick forest, decorated with flowers and surrounded by what looked like a very small but beautiful garden.

“Who do you live with?”

“I live alone,” She said calmly.

“I am sorry; you may feel lonely at times, don’t you?” Ash felt bad for her and tried to show his sympathy.

She smiled that confused Ash even more than before. “I said I live alone but why should that mean I may feel lonely? There’s a different between two, Ash.” She said in a comforting tone.

Ash realized that he was staring at her while thinking about what she had just said. Ash wished if he could stay there, with her, forever. He didn’t even know that stars were visible in the dark sky by now.

“I think I should leave now. Nice to meet you again, Ash.” She said softly.

“Now? I mean, yes you should.” It seemed as if he had a difficulty in speaking out those words. “I hope we meet again…”

Aurora smiled and left.

Blue Watery Eyes #2

Today, in my school there was Diwali week Celebration in which few competitions were conducted like Mehndi competition, Pot decoration competition and innovative gift wrapping competition (Though I really don’t know how can someone innovatively wrap an empty box) So, I chose pot decoration. At least I think that I did a wonderful job and I am really happy for that. Unfortunately, pots are submitted in the school. Hope we get them back before Diwali so that I can post its pic here.

So, please let me know if you liked this episode of Blue watery eyes? I would like to know if you’re enjoying it or not? I know for a writer, the size of his audience doesn’t matter, even sometimes we don’t even feel our writings to be read by soemone because they are close to us. But you know, support and encouragement really helps, even if it’s a writer or anyone else.

I would like to share something with you. Maybe that would be nothing much to you, but It is for me. I love talking with my blogger friends, That’s why I say “Don’t forget to comment even if you forget to like” Time for a little surprise for Maureen

On my #1 episode of Blue watery Eyes, She commented:

“Well maybe other stories are more of suspense and mystery and while they make for an excellent read, this story of yours seems to be like a dream..it’s that magical experience that we all wish to feel, you connect more so with it… It’s light and airy. And draws even you, the writer in. We come from the universe and nature, so of course we shall return to the nature to seek peace…at least that is how I feel over it. I just love the innocence and mysterious excitement that you have combined here!”

Thank you so much Maureen for such beautiful words. 🙂 I hope you liked this little surprise. Guys, there are so many amazing bloggers with whom I love to talk, and she is one of them. Make sure you visit her blog and rest, leave it to Maureen. She will mesmerize you by her writings and her creativity.

      2. Even many people sometimes misunderstand both these terms (alone and lonely) there’s a significant difference between then.
Both words show the same emotion but different feelings and that makes all the difference…
I am really glad you like this story…

      3. Yes this is very true…I use to have people say things like they felt bad for me or they were sorry that I spent so much time alone when its my intent to. I am alone by choice. I think its really just because they couldn’t imagine it for themselves that they had loneliness inside that kept ahold of them. Truly there were points in my life when I was surrounded even crowded by others that is when I felt to be so lonely…now I only feel free! 😀 You are a talented writer my friend no doubt about it! 🙂

      4. Even when I asked one of friebds that what do you think is my negative side? She said that I am sometimes very introvert which she hates bexause she is social bird… but then i told her maybe its not negative point and then she said you are different, really… and I thanked her for such a beautiful compliment… 🙂

      5. Ive not seen anything of a negative side to you Harsh! Being different is my very favorite thing to be! I keep away from people even though I am very social when the time is right. It is a way of letting myself only pay attention to me and what I might need for my own well being its a healthy and smart way to be at least in my opinion haha! 🙂

      6. Thank you so much!! Though that doesn’t mean I dont have negative side because nobody is perfect but the one who is aware of his negative side and try to improve it is near perfect…

      7. Well if you have one and Im still not convinced you do haha but if you do it is really only natural like you say we are not meant to be perfect but you handle yourself with so much respect for others and a genuine gift of caring that nothing negative will ever have any real chance inside of you for sure! 🙂

    1. Thank you Deepika Di for reading this post… I am glad you liked it! I was confused while choosing the name but Aurora’s meaning was so beautiful and suited to the character, that I chose it…
Even I am thinking to make her a supernatural creature, but will it be good?
      Let’s see…

Ok so now I come back here now that my thoughts are gathered…sometimes I cant find the words of gratitude to give to a person so deserving as you Harsh….How beautiful a person you are to take such time and put such thought into adding my comment of which I meant with my whole heart! 1. That’s a huge compliment for me, except the fact that this is actually the book I am working on… that’s why I share my first draft with my friends to get their feedback whether they like something or not, feel free to give me negative feedback too, I take it as constructive criticism… 😊😊

  7. The transitions between the tangible and phantasmagoric in these episodes are such a wonderfully unique experience. The illusion, the questions that each episode creates, leaves the reader craving more even before they have finished. If I may, I do have one small critique thus far. The use of “he/she said” is perhaps more frequent than it needs to be. I think that using more variety in the dialogue tags could add more fluidity to the overall piece. I look forward to seeing how the story grows as well as how your writing will develop as you evolve as a writer. Keep up the good work!

    1. Yes, that (he and she) even I feel it disturbing the flow of the story when I read this over again. But I hope you won’t find it, or you will find it lesser, in the next parts.
Thank you very much for such a wonderful advice. 🙂
