Blue Watery Eyes! #9

He picked out two together. And after eating the one, “They are.. so delicious. How do you make them so delicious?”

“She says it’s a secret” Ash replied.

“Did my ears hear ‘she’ just now?” Jason gave him a suspicious look.

“Oh, there’s so much work left to do right now” Ash said rolling his eyes here and there. I shouldn’t have said that, he murmured. He knew that Jason will question him, but fortunately he didn’t, as he was busy in pleasing his tummy by the cookies.

Ash had a ‘more than great’ morning, He couldn’t resist the urge to tell everything to Jason, about Aurora, how he met her, how he went to her house, how Jason was able to eat those crunchy cookies, and of course, about Alvin. He was still amazed at the thought of a broomstick walking to him and then flying apples. So many questions were revolving in his mind and he thought for once, to tell everything to Jason. But he didn’t quite like the idea, as he knew how he would react.

He realized that he woke up early in the morning, which happens very rarely, and his eyelids became heavy. Even after the sun was gleaming red in the afternoon, he went to his bedroom and he hardly hugged his bed when…

“Nononono, you’re not going to sleep again.” Jason came, shouting in the bedroom.

“I am tired. Please, let me sleep, just for 5 minutes.” Ash replied with his face buried in the pillow.

“Your 5 minutes equals to 5 hours, Wake up! It’s Monday and we are already late.” Jason said and forced Ash to get up.

Monday? Ash jumped from the bed and realized that they haven’t been to the grocery store for about two days now. How could he forget about that?

They both were now walking up what looked like a hill, with two heavy bags on their back.  As soon as they reached the top, they heard the voices coming from the busy market. The Amania market seems to be always alive due to the hustle and bustle which never ends. One can find everything here, everything he wants.

They both were walking through the passage, surrounded by different shops on either side. Ash found difficulty in preventing himself from crashing into someone. At the other hand, Jason was behind Ash who served him as a shield from the crashes.

“Hello Ash and Jason, Good morning!” A voice of a lady came from their left side; they turned and found a neckless woman with chubby cheeks and with a butcher’s knife in her hand. The shop’s sign board read “Miss Malise’s Meat Shop” Everyone in the market knew about her. No, not because of her kind nature, but because of her witch’s laugh and arrogant behavior. But being the only meat shop in the market, the people were forced to buy meat from this meatful lady.

“Hello Ma’am, but it’s afternoon.” Jason said with a frown.

“Afternoon for me, Morning for you…” and she started her witch’s laughing.

“Just ignore her.” Ash whispered in Jason’s ear and finally they reached their destination.

  2. Broomstick walking towards and flying apples surely create the sense of amazement in anyone. And that lady, owner of meat shop reminds me the lady of Tom and Jerry, haha. A well carved story and everything is well explained. Very well written. Thanks for sharing 👌👍💎

  3. All I could extract out this particular writing that you have a very indepth insight into the things, descriptions are vivid and you hold the things together…In a nutshell, You really have great potential to be a promising writer…Just keep imbibing things..read more and more..and believe me one day when your books go bestseller you shall remember a guy who said this to you long back!! Also Keep a balance between studies and writing, if writing is you passion it won’t ever drain away…But this time you have also to give your best in studies… I know that may sound ridiculous, but believe me in our society that is a reality… Keep Writing☺☺👍 All The Very Best… I shall be reading more of your post pretty soon..

Someone who cares for you will say these things and if you can’t understand that concern, you’re very unfortunate then.

Yeah, I understand the studies part and trust me, I keep a balance between them…. thanks for the concern…

      1. No That may not be true these days. But just to keep yourself stable and support your writing you have to do that…not that because society demands..Even Chetan Bhagat worked for 10 years as an Investement Banker before he switched to writing fulltime. I hope you got it what I am trying to say…and it applies to me as well…as well many people out there…☺☺☺👍

    1. Oh Di, that’s a tough question!
Ash- this name was inspired by Pokémon, I really loved his adventures that’s why!
Aurora- Even though I am a boy, but hey, we also love Disney princesses stories!!! That’s why, sleeping beauty!
Alvin- In Latin, it means friend!
Malise- it is actually a misspell of word Malice… haha
I hope you got the idea…
