Blue Watery Eyes! #13

The next morning, at exactly 10’o clock, they both were moving uphill to the Amania Market. As soon as the lace me their gaze, to their surprise, the whole place was quiet. All the shops were closed, the market that is famous for always being alive suddenly fell dead. As Ash and Jason walked further, they found a woman, who wore an apron, changing the signboard at the door from ‘open’ to ‘closed’.

“What’s happening? All shops are closed.” Jason asked the woman.

“Oh, my dear boy,” the woman turned with her sweated forehead and teary eyes, “There’s a rumor all around about king’s army coming to extort our hard-earned money. No doubt, all the wealth he has is the result of this corruption and extortion. His men must be coming very soon, you must return to your home.” The woman blurted out on the verge of crying and left hurriedly.

“This is disgusting, snatching people’s money by force and threatening,” Ash said.

“I have heard of the king’s cruelty and tyranny; some people doubt if he is a human; he has lost all his humanity,” Jason muttered, “let’s go home, it’s not safe here for now.”

Both of them turned back and moved downhill to their home. Though Jason was angry at the king for troubling the people, he was still relieved at the fact that today was now a holiday.

“Today we went there at exact 10’o clock, I woke up early and it was of no use!” Jason exploded as he entered the house.

Later, after a very long discussion, a decision was made, a decision of cleaning the house. Both of them cleaned the house together, which Jason didn’t like much.

“Jason, I’m going out for a walk,” Ash said, walking towards the door.

“Why do I think that you are frequently going out for a walk nowadays?” Jason asked dubiously.

“Come on, I am just going for a walk,” Ash reassured.

“You are hiding something from me.” He said plainly.

“And why do you think so?” Ash asked turning to him.

“I can see it on your face, your nose goes red whenever you lie,” Jason said pressing his nose.

Ash giggled. He tried to change the topic but Jason didn’t let him do it.

“Ok fine, go. But one last question, What’s her name?” Jason asked.

“Aro…” Ash almost slipped out her name and suddenly realized it. “Jason, come on, don’t be silly!” Without saying anything further, escaping from Jason’s detective eyes and questions, he went out and left a sigh of relief. He was glad that he stopped his tongue, at the right time, from spilling all the beans.

He crossed the old-looking bridge over the Sanctus Lake and went in the deep dark woods of the Umbrane Forest. He didn’t find any difficulty in finding Aurora’s home, as he had already walked to her house from the same path many times, in his dreams.

Happy news coming right now… tada.

I was busy these days plotting the whole story and the fantasy world I’ll be putting my characters in, and let me tell you, I am really really happy with what I came up with. Just wait and read my episodes, I am sure I won’t disappoint you. And yes, I really want to confess this thing: This is just a first “DRAFT” and that’s why I request you all to highlight my mistakes! So that I can be better in my next drafts.
