Blue Watery Eyes! #30

That night couldn’t be longer for Ash, for he kept changing sides, waiting impatiently for the sun to show up. A sense of relief and happiness, combined in a perfect ratio, were revolving in his mind. He started imagining himself and Jason visiting Aurora. Ash could not silence the bubbles of the excitement that were popping up in his stomach. Finally, he looked out of the closed window. The moon was half eclipsed by the clouds that interrupted the shine every now and then. Ash looked at the moon, “Thank you,” whispered Ash, with a sense of gratefulness in his voice.

Ash pulled the blanket over his face, and later, he slipped into the world of his dreams.

The sky that was dark and cold, speckled by the bright stars and a white shining ball, turned into a sky, that was golden and warm, illuminated by the first ray of the sunshine that pervaded the sky and colored it blue. The fresh wind that blew occasionally played with the trees, tickling the leaves on the branches waking up the birds in their nests.

Ash was brought back to the real world from his dreams by a ray of the sunshine that came over his face and broke the sleep spell. The creaking of the window, as the wind pushed it in and pulled it out, confused Ash. He was confident that he closed the window himself the last night, “Wind might have opened it,” he thought, convincing himself and also, things like this don’t bother much when you’re very much excited for something more special.

Ash threw away the blanket over him and got out of his bed. If there have been any title for being “the most impatient” person, Ash well deserved it. Just then he went to Jason and shook him up, a bit hastily.

Jason woke up with a jump, “What happened?” said Jason, with a sense of anxiety.

“It’s morning, and you should wake up,” said Ash, rather sheepishly. “And we have a very important thing to do. We need to go to her house.”

Sleep from Jason’s eyes had bid farewell to him by then. He sat on his bed and put his hands on Ash’s shoulders. “How would you react if someone bumped into our house, such early morning? Without any invitation?”

“But Aurora did invite you that day,” cried Ash.

“Does she know that we are coming there to meet her and that too early morning?” asked Jason, raising his eyebrows. Ash shook his head in denial.

But after many requests, Jason finally got out of his bed.

  2. I miss the days when an episode a day was posted. However getting into this piece of writing..as usual the you are phenomenal in writing about nature.. descriptions of the sky.. dawn aside dusk and the skies and the stars are unbelievably beautiful.

Love how you mix a little pinches of mystery with the white horse in the previous episodes and the window in this one!

Even I miss those days but what to do, life is getting quite busy these days, exams are near, so you get the point.

  3. The moon was half eclipsed by the clouds that interrupted the shine every now and then. It’s so magical the way you describe about nature. And you have the power to turn the ordinary sentence into an extra ordinary one.
Ash just woke up from the bed. And you made it look so lovely with your words, ray of sunshine broke the sleep spell. Keep it up bro.
