Dark demons lie inside

But they refuse to leave,

No matter how much I cried,

My soul they cleave!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My angel came,

To save me from hell

To extinguish their flame,

To make them leave my shell!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But she disappeared,

And they stayed.

This is what I feared,

This isn’t what I prayed!

Everything is lost,

Shattered into pieces.

My heart is frost,

And my soul ceases.

I’m lifeless like corpse,

But the one that breathe.

And my soul warps,

And cries for a wreath.

  1. From knowing you to be the bubbly ray of sunshine who brightened our hearts with your cutest series watery eyes…to seeing you write stuff this deep is unbelievable!

    .. you know most people have an art at something they are good at. Poetry, short stories, happy stuff or depressing stuff.. but this variety of yours and how amazing you are at whatever you do, Harsh, is phenomenal!

    And it’s not even just about the stuff you create. It’s about “you” as a whole.. as a writer, a friend, A follower, your appreciative comments, your humble criticism ..whatever you are, whatever you do! You’re amazing at it! ✌

      1. Haha you know when I first came across your blog I checked the number of followers and thought wow.. all these people follower him cause he talks so much! 🙈

        Never was a fan of comment chats .. the maximum I would say in a reply is thank you but all that changed when your bubbly rays invaded my dark barren lands of nightmares! I’m honored to have met you too! My whole WordPress journey would be completely different if you weren’t a part of it!

        For me, WordPress was more of making friends than getting feedback on what I write. I love to read people, by the way they talk, by the way they write. And this is best part of WP, making friends! 😊😊

  4. So you all have decided to write on darkness..it was a good read harsh..for a second I thought this one as a post of miss dark. You missed nothing. I liked the rhyme here and the your choice of words.. Did I miss anything ?
