Too Busy To Care! #1

Sunset chaser

Once again, his destiny took him right to the place where he was meant to be. But he was getting late, with so many things in his mind that he hardly cared about what was around him. He started walking faster, with his shoes tapping hard on the ground. Neither did he notice the smile on the twins that painted their face, when the father of the twins, who wore a torn pants and dull shirt bought them two ice-creams. Nor did he notice the tears of joy in the father’s heart to see his children happy. He was just too busy to care, he just walked on.

But, as I told you, destiny bought him here and there must have been some reason behind it. His cell-phone ringed, but he looked at his watch. He hardly had any time to waste. Everything must be perfect today. Punctuality, for him, was the most important quality and gift that only a few people possessed, but those who possessed this quality, were more successful than others. He looked at the cell-phone. It was his wife. But he couldn’t be late for the meeting that he had to attend at eight thirty sharp. And most of the time, his wife just asked about whether he had taken his lunch or if he had reached his office, nothing much important to care about. He was just too busy to care, he just walked on.

But, as I told you, destiny bought him here and there must have been some reason behind it. As he was walking, his wallet fell out of his pocket. He didn’t even realize the emptiness in his pocket. But someone else realized the black wallet that fell on the ground. It was a girl who must be around the age of his own daughter – somewhere around 17, he couldn’t say how old his daughter was. The girl bent on her knees and picked up the wallet, and called out in the crowd “Sir, your wallet!” But, as I told you, he hardly cared what was going around him. The girl ran after him and finally reached him. “Sir, your wallet. You dropped it there.” She said, taking in fast breaths. The man checked his pocket and realized that he had actually dropped it. He took back the wallet, put his hand in and picked out a note of 10 dollars and gave it to her. “I am glad you found it. Take this.” He offered the money to the girl. A smile, with a mix up of emotions, reflected on her face. But she didn’t put out her hand to take the money. “Take it. I gotta go.” The man shook the note in front of her, but she refused. “Please, take it back. I never help anyone with the feeling for something in return. But I may just ask you one thing, next time if someone helps you, please don’t feel shy to say thank you. These words are much more valuable than this note” The girl said and wished him a good day, and then returned to her own journey. He put the note back in his wallet, and wallet in his pocket. Without absorbing a single drop of whatever the girl had just said, he moved on. He was just too busy to care, he just walked on.

Hello, wonderful people of the earth, (forgive me if some of you are from mars)

So, how are you all? I hope everyone is awesome and happy! And I? Always Amazing (Thanks for asking 😉

As soon as I wrote this, I posted it without any editing and without any plot confirmation, because I don’t know why but this story just flowed out of my mind to the keyboard. I don’t know if you will like it. But tell me if you would like me to continue this as a series. I would love to do that!

P.S. – I never write any other genre than fantasy, because I just love to be around magic, But this is my first try, tell me what you think about it!

I will be waiting for your feedback and suggestions!

Have an amazing panda day!

      1. It’s going good. I just hope that I get over it soon! And at the same time, I just want it to go for forever because it’s so fun to write with those characters. Jason, Ash and Aurora, I feel so connected to them.

      2. Yes absolutely and it is always with writers the characters that they create become part and parcel of your life and somewhere you miss them. I told you I too have almost written a book and the name of my character is Zuma, so I too feel connected with him.

      3. I have written but it is all with me, you know the post I had written about the Village headman it was taken from there, but I don’t know dear I am stuck up cause when I showed it to my friend who is a great writer he put me off so from that time I am not confident, so when you get the time let me know I will post few pages for you and then you tell me how I am going about it. The name of my book is Wandering Nomad.

      4. Oh Harsh it is all on a person who hears the voice of God one day and how he sets sail from his house and who he meets along and I have named the book as the Wandering Nomad. So I have included few stories too in it and he is on a quest in search of himself.

      5. Ya I do not mind but first you concentrate on your book cause that too is very important. If you have time only then I will send you first few pages and then let me know how it is going. You know my friend told me that if he is on a search to find himself then you cannot be writing stories from his side but what he learnt from learned people and so I am confused now.

      6. I won’t say about what your friend said is right or wrong, but it doesn’t make sense. People write book so that the world who reads their work absorb the lesson through the journey of the character. No worries, just a question – have you read the alchemist? By Paulo Coehlo?

      7. No somehow I am not a fan of his though I have read lot of books on motivation and spiritual themes. I have read Monk who sold his ferrari and ya as you said I know I must not listen to that person too but somehow have got stuck up. K so what I will do Harsh will send you how I have started the book and where my character Zuma comes in the book. Then you let me know. Will send you right now on your email.

      8. Are baba he has written many books and you know he is quite famous abroad too, Harsh and he really made me feel a little sad saying you are writing more for the children genre than big people so was really not understanding of course there is lot of fine tuning that needs to be done but I just wanted to know how is my writing dear.

      9. I will try my best! Don’t worry… 😊😊 But this is your work, and remember I won’t write it for you (the reason is I can’t write like you, you have your own flowery style and the switch will look odd) but I will help you, in any way possible.

      10. Yes absolutely agree and no just would like your help where there is repetitive words or sentences or where u can tell me to change like how in your blue waters I would just add or say something. Tomorrow I will download my email address on my mobile then we can work on my book.

      11. Yeah, that’s the worst thing. That’s why I shared with only you guys, never sent my blue watery eyes for any feedback or review by some author or beta reader. For a budding author, motivation is a must. And if someone just step on the sapling, destroying it. How can that sapling turn into a tree then?

      12. Please don’t mind, but I hardly get time to work on my book, Di. I can read your work Di, and can give suggestions where it needs improvement. And since I told you, your writing style is much more beautiful and flowery than me, I don’t think I will be able to write that way.

      4. Sach me Di,
How much I wish to have a friend like Jason!!! I don’t know why but I just feel the character of Jason more than anyone else… It’s like someone whom i have always wanted in my life but never had a chance to make a friend like him in real life. So what, fictional world zindabaad!!! 😂😂😂

      6. Well I’ll tell you something, mujhe sabne kaha tha ki non- med lo, marks achhe the but I hated science, so at the end I chose commerce.
I can say it’ll be tough but I know if you want it you can handle it, it may be hard and how much hard, that depends on your capabilities but you can handle it for sure. So, if you ask me apply that proverb, suno sabki, karo man ki… Maine toh yahi kiya that.. If you have interest in it choose it..doesn’t matter what people say.. Okay.😃

      7. Feels good after knowing about someone’s else experience. Because at a point I decided to take up pcb only (i want to do medical) and then suddenly a empty feeling of regret too over me that I left mathematics, a subject that I love to explore. I score good in it too.

      8. Kuch toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna… If you want it, do it. Look at those doctors, did they not succeed, what makes you think you won’t? Of course you can… But you’ve to confident about it. Neither under confident nor over confident.. But just confident. Got it? 😃
