The Blind Illusion! #3

He stopped in front of a cell, his destination. He slid his identity card in, and walked in the dark and small prison. The room was so small that you could touch both the opposite walls, one with your hand and one with your feet. But no one was inside this room. The prison was empty, but a glass jar filled with water, kept right in the centre of the room.

“Long time no see, huh?” Estern said, standing in front of the glass jar. “I guess we met yesterday only.”

Estern spoke in an empty room. The moment he picked up the jar, a sound of chains scratching the walls echoed in the room. And suddenly, a visible figure came out of dark corner and evolved into a man out of thin air. “Don’t you dare touch her!” The man who was tied in the chains shouted at Estern.

“No touching, huh? Fine.” said Estern, and dropped the glass jar. The glass jar shattered into pieces and the water was spilled all over the ground. But suddenly, the water moved, and collected itself. All the water beads that fell on the ground joined themselves and got accumulated in a single piece. The water rose to the height of Estern and swirled until a girl was standing in front of him.

Estern took out his lighter, even though he never smoked but tools like this came in handy, in the times unexpected.

The girl gritted her teeth at him. “What brought you here?”

“Nothing, just a few questions, actually. You both would like to answer honestly this time, I guess. Tell me about him, your friend who is still running free.” Estern spoke frankly.

“Try us, we’ll not speak a word about him!” said the man who possessed the power of invisibility.

“Then pray to god to give you the strength, to watch your friend evaporate to death” said Estern, clicked his lighter and a flame evolved around it’s tip.

The girl didn’t blink, but her eyes reflected the fear. “Don’t do this to me. You can’t.”

“Try me, I can” Estern said with a smile.

    Care brings negative thoughts,
    “Negative thoughts” is the 1st step of a dark ladder,
    All the steps of this ladder increases the fear inside you,
    And an afraid person is always weak….

    Another piece of art by you. The way you portray the story is mind-blowing. It was like watching a movie, everything was happening in front of my eyes.
    I’m really excited to read more.

      4. Haha, I read about it from the answers of yours in that award post. So you don’t read, huh? I find it funny because reading and writing are the things that go parallel,but you write so amazing, so it will be great to know what inspired you to write. And yes, reading will help you to use your writing skills to your full potential, give it a try, it will be worth it! 🙂

      5. Things happening around me, that makes me emotional, inspire me to write. I don’t write something special, all my writings are mere feelings and facts. Like the last post I wrote was all because of a message. I asked my younger sister that “how hard is it to be a girl?”. And her reply put me under a question that ok, I’m not doing anything wrong but not doing those things is enough or should I try to do something?. And I came up with the post “She”.

  6. im starting to love your style.. ive always loved your writings but your style.. you know how you paint in those fantastic images of the water beads recollecting.. reminded me of the episode where alvin silently listens to a conversation and topples a vase and fixes it!

    the jar of water resemblance and the invincible guy in chains is an amazing imagination so rich in creativity!

  7. The ending,humans forget the thing what gives them strength is their weakness too,Loved the phrase. Man with a power of invisibility is really cool. Just heading to next part.
