If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you’d like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost a cinch that you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost;
For out of the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will
It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you’re outclassed, you are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can!

Hello Wonderful Readers,
How are you? I hope you’re awesome and doing great.
I read this poem in the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill. But the problem was, there weren’t any credits mentioned for this in the book. So I thought maybe Napolean Hill wrote it but something was wrong, I knew that. (I get to know what’s wrong, before. But unfortunately this skill doesn’t come in use while doing maths exam, hahaha) So, I searched this poem on net, and guess who wrote it, yeah, I have mentioned the name above. But whoever wrote it, it is really true and so inspiring!
I hope you liked it too.

It is a beautiful poem. I remember reading it in school. I wish such a lovely poem had at least one line that said that just thinking isn’t enough unless we act on it, but I guess the writer wanted to tell us how important our thoughts are!

Yes, you are write that our actions matters first… but don’t you think that it is actually our thoughts that determine our actions…
If you think you can’t climb the ladder and reach success, neither you will try step up nor you will achieve success.
But the one who thinks he can, will not only climb up but will achieve it too….
Acc to me, our thoughts really determine our actions… and yes, I agree with you…

I don’t know why but this poem just took me to all my researches about brains and I looked at it with a scientific (psychological) angle. Maybe it is just a consequence of being a science student.
But actually you know what? Human brain and thinking is so damn powerful that a disease can be cured. Just if a person believes that he can overcome the disease, then no matter how deadly it is, the person will survive. He just need great conviction.
And another of my observations is that… you don’t tell a person what disease he is suffering from. Some of the symptoms might not even show. Even if they would, not that much harm is caused and the person stays active. Also sometimes it can be cured without the medicine.
And if you tell a completely normal person that he is suffering from a disease, then surely he would start showing symptoms and might get bed ridden.

And you won’t believe, Even I believe so!!!
I heard about a case in which that person was told that doctors will make the snake bite him, so he will die… (so funny) 😂 and the next thing what happened is they just took two pins and acted like snake bit him, and because his eyes were closed he believed that snake bit him and he died…
Hahaha 😂😂 I know it’s not real but it’s good… I mean connecting with your and mine point.
I’ve heard about this in the case of diabetes too!!
😊😊
Thank you so much for reading this and sharing your views!!
And hey, you’re a science student!!! I need to talk with you about this…
