Psycho Prophet’s Grave!

Estern’s blood was raging with anger, he shouted his heart out “To heck with this ‘Psyco Shit’ and to heck with your bloody God, why the hell don’t you leave us alone!?”

Without any slight expression on his face, the Leader sternly pulled Esetrn’s hand that had been branded with the word ‘Bow Down’ And whispered, ‘Kizania’

Suddenly Estern’s vision was blurred and finally blackened. He could feel like his body was flowing in a dark sky, without any stars, any source of light, just complete darkness, nothing else. His body was getting so light that he could almost feel it getting away from him, his arms were stretching. In the endless sky of nothing, he could see his own body shining bright, leaving him. The next moment, he caught a glimpse of something, a light glittering like at the end of a tunnel, and Estern was closing his eyes to once again fall in the same dream. And suddenly, he woke up, as if pulled back to the reality.

There were no longer any metal walls, neither the paintings, the roof also might have shrunk, for he was standing somewhere that felt so familiar, like a house.

“This is where that ‘Psycho Prophet’ used to live.” A silent voice broke out from the dark corner and Estern found the leader emerging from there. “Welcome to my home.”

“What do you mean by ‘your home’?” Estern felt his voice shaking.

“I am his child, the one that his classmates used to call ‘Psycho’s Son’ remember?” The leader said with his hands crossed. “Now without wasting anytime, do as I say. Pick up that shovel and come with me.”

What the heck was going on? This man is his son! What will he get from digging up his father’s grave!?  But Estern did as the man commanded; he picked up the dusty shovel from the corner and pulled off the spider’s home. But before he could look at the leader, he was already heading towards the backyard.

Estern followed him, and the leader stopped at a place. “Under my feet lay my father’s grave. Dig it out.”

“What will you get from that!? He’s dead, what might be left of him are just bones or maybe nothing at all!” Estern reasoned.

“Without any question, do it!”

Estern started digging at the place where he pointed. Sweat was dripping from his nose, as the sun melted down in the sky above. The dusk had fallen, and the moon had appeared by now. And suddenly, Estern felt something; he picked up the shovel and looked at its tip painted with blood. Estern used his hands and dug out the earth. “What the…!” he exclaimed in horror.

“You told me he died 20 years ago, how is it possible for a body to remain as it is, without decaying!?”

The leader who was standing on the ruin, said without taking a notice of his father’s corpse, “I didn’t let him die, not completely.” He said with a calm voice, “Now turn him upside down, you might be able to see some sort of symbols.”

Estern couldn’t look at the face; he turned the body with his trembling hands. The moment the person’s back faced him, Estern took a step back, the whole skin was tattooed with abstract patterns and designs. It was painted like a canvas, with no space to fill anymore. Estern could see a symbol tattooed right in the centre, and he could swear it resembled the sun.

“Now put your hand upon the sun on his back, before the dusk ends.” The leader said lighting up the cigarette that he held between his fingers.

Estern put his palm on the person’s back, with water dripping from his face, but this time, they were tears. He wiped his eyes with his other hand and wondered why these tears were falling. And no sooner, the symbols moved. Like a painting was alive, and the symbols relocated themselves, and suddenly the tattooed sun broke into two and split apart, revealing a message that was shining so brightly that Estern could hardly look at it directly!

At the sight of the light, Leader dropped the cigarette and ran to Estern, and stood in front of him with his eyes closed.

“What does it say?” the leader shouted!

But the letters were too bright, and the two pieces of the sun were gradually getting back at their place, to rejoin again.

“Spit it out, you scum! The dusk is ending! It’s the last piece, and I have to know it!” the leader was shouting on the top of his voice.

But before the sun could get back and trap the message, Estern focused and the letters got clear.

“Kill your earthly desires. For you have to walk this path alone. Get past this Blind Illusion!”
